Keyboard shortcuts for faster posing#280

J

Posing is very time consuming and cumbersome. Merely selecting a plane of manipulation can take several clicks and attempts, and it needs to be done excessively often. I propose to introduce keyboard shortcuts. Keyboard shortcuts are not unusal, they are used in most desktop software nowadays.

For example: Once a manipulation node is clicked there could be keys to perform manipulations, an assigned key for every direction. For example one tap on “u” rotates the limb up one unit in the sagittal plane, where as a double tap on “u” rotates it up several units at a time. “j” could be for down in the saggital plane, “h” for left in in the frontal plane and so forth.

Once a figure is selected, the tab key could be used to rotate through the manipulation nodes, like on macos/windows the tab is used to jump to the next window (or shift+tab to the previous one).

There could be a preferences pane where users can assign their own shortcuts, if need be.
